Sowers of Seed Mission Work Camps
Who would think that working with a paint brush or a hammer could lead to changed lives? Sowers of Seed, the mission arm of Salt ‘n Light, offers a variety of ways to reach out to those in need. A poverty-stricken Native American couple in South Carolina can be touched by God through the ministry of Sowers of Seed.
Sowers of Seed’s outreach to the Native American Pee Dee Indian tribe in South Carolina began seven years ago when deplorable living and social conditions were discovered among many members of this tribe. Seeking to meet the most immediate needs for members of the tribe through home repair projects, as well as providing clothing and food, this mission has developed into a strong covenantal relationship with one of the poorest Native American church in the States. This has made way for a great transformation in the lives of tribe members, community residents and missioners alike.
Consider joining a Sowers of Seed mission for a cross-cultural and spiritual experience. See how YOU can be changed and how God can USE you to impact the lives of others!
