Retreat Weekends with Salt ‘n Light
We know it well. The feel of the crisp, autumn air. The chill of the wintry winds. The blossoming of new earth that arrives with spring. Each season brings it’s own unique spin on nature. But one thing draws all of these seasons together: Retreats!
Salt ‘n Light Youth Ministry wants to partner with you to make the best retreat possible. You have your students for one weekend, away from their cell phones, their homework, and their parents. We know how important a weekend like this can be in the spiritual transformation of students; we’ve seen it first hand.
So what do you need? A worship leader? Someone to preach? People to lead games? We’re willing to do any and all of these things, not to mention get to know your students on a personal level. Our greatest joy in a retreat weekend is partnering with a youth pastor to create an outstanding, transformational weekend for their students. Bring us into your brainstorming process. Let us help cultivate and create a meaningful theme. Get to know us a bit better as we get to connect with you and your students!

Salt ‘n Light Retreat Weekend Options
Option 1
3-4 SnL staff
$750 per weekend
- Includes a SnL worship team, and programming planning.
- Round trip mileage from Mechanicsburg, PA at .90/mile (one vehicle).
- Lodging (If possible, apart from the youth, given our need for proper rest).
- All food for the weekend.
- If supper on Friday evening is not included, we request a $35 allowance for a meal en route.
- Permission to sell our SnL t-shirts and to display Messiah College information, offering free items. (We are partnered with Messiah College).
Option 2
5-6 SnL staff
$1000 per weekend
- Includes worship team, programming planning, sound and lighting as needed.
- Round trip mileage from Mechanicsburg, PA at .90/mile (one vehicle).
- Lodging (If possible, apart from the youth, given our need for proper rest).
- All food for the weekend.
- If supper on Friday evening is not included, we request a $50 allowance for a meal en route.
- Permission to sell our SnL t-shirts and to display Messiah College information, offering free items. (We are partnered with Messiah College).
Option 3
7-9 SnL staff
$1250 per weekend
- Includes worship team, programming planning, sound and lighting as needed.
- Round trip mileage from Mechanicsburg, PA at .90/mile (two vehicles).
- Lodging (If possible, apart from the youth, given our need for proper rest).
- All food for the weekend.
- If supper on Friday evening is not included, we request a $75 allowance for a meal en route.
- Permission to sell our SnL t-shirts and to display Messiah College information, offering free items. (We are partnered with Messiah College).
