IMPACT

Impact 2025: Cancelled.

After much prayer, careful discernment, and seeking wise council, I am writing to share that Salt ‘n Light Youth Ministry’s team has made the difficult decision to cancel Impact 2025. While the Salt ‘n Light team and I were hopeful and excited for this year’s new event, registration simply didn’t reach the level needed to make it sustainable, both financially and logistically.

We know how deeply Impact has impacted (pun intended!) so many lives over the years. For many students, leaders, and alumni, it has been a sacred space of worship, growth, community, and a kingdom rising. We remember the many years spent together at Camp Greene Hills enjoying Impact and all God did during those hot summer days every summer. Those memories, especially our last one on the property in 2024, are what I want us to cherish and remember as Impact’s legacy. Over the last year, we truly desired to recreate that same sentiment in a new setting. The planning of it was exciting, and we are so grateful to The Junction Center for all of their help along the way. The Lord made it clear to us though, over the last few weeks that now is the time to actually shift plans, make adjustments, and go in a totally different direction. While we are surprised by this, we are following God’s leading into this new and unexpected threshold. God is, after all, our Storymaker.

This decision was not made lightly. There is sadness, yes, but also peace. Because we are committed to stewarding Salt ‘n Light with faith, wisdom, and integrity, and we trust that God’s plan is unfolding….even here.

And we are not done.

We have been working with the groups registered and are offering something very exciting and meaningful for them. And, on Saturday July 19th, we will be hosting something new, something open to all. A powerful night of worship, revival, and hope. The details are coming together even now, and we will be sharing more very soon. To be honest, the word we keep coming to is revival. We feel it unfolding, and are open to it.

Even in disappointment, God is moving. We feel this moment with you, grieving the loss of what was, but leaning into the promise of what’s next. Our team, especially our summer interns, are responding with passion and faith, continuing to live out our vision: Youth Reaching Youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Thank you for your continued prayers, encouragement, and support as we follow God’s lead into this uncharted territory and new chapter.

With gratitude and hope,

Chrisanna and the Salt ‘n Light Team
