18 Jun S’nL Camp 2011 Re-cap
So we just finished an absolutely incredible week at camp. This year at Greene Hills, the camp was full of absolutely awesome experiences. After toss-ball tournaments, deathsticks, crazy improv games and an epic praise rally (if I do say so myself), it was clear that the week was going to be one to remember. At open mic night, we watched an impressive repertoire of acts, including dances, dramas, solo and group cover performances, and even a personalized letter from our dear friend Beatrice E. Jenkins.
The camp wasn’t just purely fun
and games though – we had incredible time spent with God at campfire, in small group times, and during personal devotion time. God moved in so many ways through worship, spoken messages, and even on things as simple as scraps of paper with a few words of encouragement jotted down on them. We had the honor to see God work in incredible ways, in everybody at the camp.
We as a team have been so blessed to have met new people at camp, and refresh the connections that we have made in the past. We can’t wait to see what is still to come this summer.
And now, it’s off to the Pee Dee Mission Trip in South Carolina in the morning – here we go!
